MITSUBISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES COMPRESSOR INTERNATIONAL RECEIVES ISO 9001, ISO 14001, & ISO 27001 CERTIFICATION
Houston, TX [November 2018] — Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Compressor International (MCO -I) has achieved certifications to the newest standards for ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System and ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management System.
The combination of these three certifications reflect the organization’s long-term commitment to quality, transparency, sustainability, security and ultimately customer satisfaction. MCO -I has also been independently audited for compliance to ISO 45001:2018, Safety, and was approved to start the formal qualification process for this fourth ISO standard.
ISO 9001, the most widely used quality management standard, demonstrates the ability to provide products and services to meet customer and regulatory requirements on consistent bases. The updated program requires greater involvement of senior management, broader understanding of supply chains, a prioritized and risk -based mentality towards business challenges and more focus on stakeholder (not just customer) expectations.
ISO 14001 demonstrates a commitment to sound environmental stewardship through pollution prevention, waste minimization, and conservation of natural resources by integrating environmental management through all business practices
ISO 27001 proves the businesses commitment to protecting information to prevent the risk of a security breach and avoid the loss of data. The program validates the way organizations manage the security of assets such as financial information, intellectual property, employee detail or information entrusted by customers or vendors.
These certifications are valid for three years and provided by DNV GL – Business Assurance.
