MAN Diesel & Turbo has received an order from Iranian EPC Nargan Company for two of its ReTPac (Refinery Train Package) turbomachinery trains. The machinery will serve in a refinery about 280 mi. (450 km) south of the country’s capital, Tehran.
Esfahan Oil Refining Company (EORC) will operate the trains, which will be used in a hydrotreating application in the production of ultra-low sulfur fuels.
ReTPac units are specifically designed for refinery applications and combine the driver and compressor as a single-lift unit. The units are based around customizable modules, which is meant to allow short delivery times.
Along with the ReTPac orders, MAN PrimeServ will be filling several spare-part orders from the Iranian Oil Pipelines and Telecommunication Company, including parts for S-Series turbines, which are a heritage brand of MAN Diesel & Turbo.
